Well, I belong to the 'almost official' Apocalyptica Fanclub here at Mexico which's name is, Oppilaskunta, meaning 'fraternity' in Finnish, the band's mother language.

As you can see, this is a wallpaper to be downloaded and promote the fanclub so we gather new members. The picture belongs to Ralf Strathmann [link] and you can easily watch the original at the new album's booklet.

I was lucky enough to meet Ralf the last time Apocalyptica came to Mexico and told me to feel free about using his images when it came to things concerning the Fanclub... He recognized my work for it!!! I still feel too happy for that. Of course the band was also quite happy to see such a dedication coming from the fans. They helped us a bit with the name spelling when I asked Paavo Lötjönen and Eicca Toppinen for advice... They are amazing persons! And of course Perttu as well, he's really kind and open.

The one portrayed this time is Eicca Toppinen, the 'leader' of the band, he's one of the guys behind the beginning of apocalyptica as is. He's really down to earth and a nice person to talk with. And has loads of fans as well, though he's already married lol!
